Heather Gummersheimer received her Structural Engineering License with the State of Illinois. She began her civil engineering career in 2000 as a bridge design engineer. She was responsible for design of a culvert and checking bridge plans. In 2003, she continued her career as a structural engineer in building design. She gained experience in the design of new commercial buildings such as churches, schools, banks, hotels, parking structures, and themed buildings constructed of various types of materials. She has a diverse background with design of several types of foundation systems and has also worked on several building renovation projects.
Bryan Cross, Environmental Scientist, has received his certification as a Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. A Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector has training, demonstrated expertise, and experience in inspecting land disturbing activities for compliance with national, federal, state, provincial, and local regulations and ordinances.
Congratulations to Geri Boyer, Managing Partner, for winning the 2010 Winning Women Women Influencing Now Regional Economic Development Award. Geri was recognized for her ongoing commitment to the development and prosperity of the City of Belleville, the Metro East, and the St. Louis Region.
Kaskaskia Engineering Group, LLC received a 2010 ACEC-Illinois Honor Award for Participation in the Kickapoo Creek Stream Restoration (p.5), a Special Achievement Award for the Belleville Streetscape (p.16), and a Merit Award for the Restoration of Lake Paradise (p.23).
