KEG is excited to announce that Bryan C. Donze, PE, MSCE, has joined the firm as Transportation Lead, Indiana Operations in the Evansville, Indiana office. For the past 3 years, Bryan has served as Highway Maintenance Director for the Indiana Department of Transportation Vincennes District, where he oversaw the delivery and execution of the maintenance program. This included bridge repair and rehabilitation, roadway repair and rehabilitation, guardrail, attenuator, cable rail, fence, and sound wall repair; roadside vegetation management and mowing; and asphalt spot paving and repair. Prior to that, he served as the LaPorte District's System Asset Manager, District Operations Manager, and Design Engineer. Bryan is known for his project management skills, delivering projects on time and within budget.
KEG received a 2018 ACEC Illinois Engineering Excellence Merit Award for the FAI 64 at Rieder Road Interchange. This project involved 3.3 miles of widening improvements along I-64; the construction of a new bridge over I-64; the construction of a diamond interchange at Rieder Road; realignment of Rieder Road; extensions and improvements to Wherry Road, Chocktaw Road, and Shiloh Valley Township Road and drainage improvements along each of the roadways within the project limits.
KEG was also a subconsultant to Juneau Associates, Inc., P.C., on the Alton Regional Multi Modal Transportation Center. This project also won a Merit Award.

Virginia (Ginny) Flynn received her certification as a Professional Wetland Scientist through the Society of Wetland Scientists. Ginny has provided wetland surveys and wetland delineations for various projects throughout Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Minnesota.
Erika Eckert was approved as a Right-of-Way Negotiator by the Illinois Department of Transportationon October 19, 2017, to provide land acquisition services . Erika has assisted with Right-of-Way negotiation on East A Street Resurfacing and the IL 13 at Freeburg Avenue Roundabout in Belleville, Shiloh Safe Routes to School, Rieder Road Interchange Water Main Relocation on O'Fallon, and the US 6 and East 550th Street and Stonebridge Blvd Intersection Improvements in Colona, Illinois.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has approved the expansion of KEG's service categories. In addition to the 17 existing prequalification categories, KEG added 10.1 Traffic Signal Design and 10.3 Complex Roadway Sign Design.
KEG is proud to announce the appointment of Ametra Harris to the City of St. Louis Planning Commission. Harris was appointed by Mayor Francis Slay, who has partnered with the Women’s Foundation’s Appointments Project, in order to address the gender gap in city leadership positions.
“Ametra Harris will be a wonderful addition to the City of St. Louis Planning Commission. As a young engineer, Ametra will bring a valuable perspective to the commission,” said Mayor Francis Slay.
Congratulations to Ben Bovee, P.E., SE. for his newly elected position of Secretary for the SAME Scott Field Post.
As Post Secretary, Mr. Bovee is responsible for maintaining the correspondence and records of the Post, sending out notices of meetings, recording the proceedings of all Board and membership meetings, and maintaining a record copy of the Streamer and Award submissions.
Kaskaskia Engineering Group, LLC (KEG) is happy to announce its acquisition of Central Illinois Tile Co. (CIT), a Champaign, Illinois construction firm.
With the acquisition of CIT, KEG Build will expand their work capabilities into underdrains and other related services. KEG Build currently provides contracting services that include cold milling, preformed pavement markings, patching, grading and drainage work.
The CIT acquisition includes their existing facility, equipment, several of their employees, as well as existing contracts. The acquisition does not include the CIT name.
KEG Build looks forward to providing these expanded services and carrying on the tradition of quality work in which CIT is known.

Keith is keenly aware of and a key influencer concerning TGB, DBE, VET, and small business utilization, and at the forefront of trends and priorities concerning small business development and inclusion.
As a champion for small business growth and sustainability in the region, through "Everybody In," he has demonstrated leadership capacity and acquired talents to advance strategic partnerships like the “Consortium” of small firms put together to successfully compete and win engineering and architect contracts on US Bank Stadium (Vikings Stadium). Keith has cultivated key relationships with local leaders, business owners, and members of such organizations as Association of General Contractors, Association of Women Contractors, National Association of Minority Contractors, and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
