Shattuc Road


SUMMARY

KEG Build, a Division of Kaskaskia Engineering Group, LLC, provided construction services on the Shattuc Road Project, which consisted of reconstruction on a new alignment and widening on US Route 50, including earthwork, processing lime modified soils, new pavement, pavement patching, HMA binder and surface courses, and storm sewer/pipe culverts. The project limits were from north of the CSX Railroad, north for 0.25 mile to US Route 50 in Clinton County, Illinois.

As a subcontractor to Kilian Corporation, KEG Build was responsible for pipe culvert removals, removals related to the drainage work, pipe culverts and concrete storm sewer installation ranging from 15” – 30”, 3’x3’ box culvert and end section, precast concrete end sections, approximately 121 cubic yards of trench backfill, inlet protection, RR3 riprap, concrete collars and connections to existing drainage structures, and traffic control as needed for KEG Build contract work.
